Phyllis Lyn Jacob is a licensed Minister and Psalmist.

Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, to Deacon Velete Jacob and the late Minister Leroy Jacob. The youngest among her siblings she was exposed to different genres of music from an early age. Her love for music led her to a greater passion and interest in Gospel music.

As a child she was encouraged to sing, and was a part of the children and all ages choir at church. She expressed her love and talent for music at her elementary school, junior, and senior high school choir, and the District of Columbia (DC) regional Glee Club. Phyllis graduated from GIDC bible School with honors in 2016, where she also served as the School’s Administrative Assistant. She was Licensed as a Minister shortly thereafter.

She has served in many capacities in former ministries such as, Minister, Head of the Armor-bearer department and on the Praise & Worship ministry. Minister Phyllis currently serves as Assistant- Pastor, Minister, Facilitator and Executive Administrator at Chayil Christian Ministries.

Phyllis is the proud mother of one adult son.

She stands on Phil 4:8 “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things”.
